WISTRON LADIES OPEN INCREASES PRIZE FUND FOR 2026

Sunrise Golf and Country Club

The Ladies European Tour (LET) and the Taiwan LPGA Tour (TLPGA) are pleased to announce an increased prize fund for the 2026 Wistron Ladies Open taking place from October 29 – November 1 at Sunrise Golf and Country Club.

Ahead of the seventh edition, the purse has now been elevated to $1.2 million USD, an increase of $200,000 from 2024 and 2025, and sees the continued growth and investment into the tournament.

The tournament will benefit from the continued sponsorship of Wistron Corporation, a global leading technology service provider, which supplies information and communications products, service solutions and systems to top brands in the ICT industry worldwide.

Wistron has been an important partner of the TLPGA since 2006 and has sponsored the Wistron Ladies Open since 2020 with the tournament becoming co-sanctioned with the LET in 2024.

Since being added to the LET schedule, the event has been won by Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini – who went on to win the 2024 LET Order of Merit title – and home favourite Yani Tseng was triumphant in 2025.

Tom Phillips, CEO of the LET, said: “We are delighted to announce the elevated prize fund for the 2026 Wistron Ladies Open. I would like to thank Wistron Corporation for their continued support of the tournament and to our co-sanctioning partners, the TLPGA. This increase is an important milestone for the event and highlights the continued growth and development of our Tour, as well as the broader momentum behind women’s professional golf.”

Chairlady of TLPGA Bie-Shyun Huang stated: “This year marks the third time that the TLPGA and the LET co-sanction this tournament. Top players from both tours will compete over four rounds at the Sunrise Golf & Country Club, making it a top-tier event plenty of intense competition and friendship.

“Our sincere gratitude goes out to the Chairman of Wistron Corporation Simon Lin for his longstanding support of TLPGA and for helping elevate the tournament to a higher level. This year, the total purse has increased to US$1.2 million.

“Sunrise Golf & Country Club has also been an invaluable partner of the TLPGA. We would like to thank Chairman Tien-ya Hsu and General Manager Mei-lan Huang for their devotion to maintaining the course, which has contributed greatly to the tournament’s ongoing success. With the heartfelt support of both our corporate partner and the host venue, we are confident that the TLPGA will continue to grow and nurture more outstanding talents who will shine on the world stage.”
