The summer swing of the 2026 Ladies European Tour (LET) season is complete and now it’s time to cast your vote for the August 2026 Player of the Month award.
Three events took place on the LET in August with the PIF London Championship at Centurion Club followed by the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open at Migros Golfpark Holzhäusern, and the month ended with the KPMG Women’s Irish Open hosted at the K Club.
The Player of the Month award, which was introduced in 2025, sees LET commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker decided upon four nominees based on performances during the month.
August 2026 Player of the Month shortlist
Eleanor Givens (England)
Wins: 1

England’s Eleanor Givens joined the winner’s circle in August thanks to a tense victory at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. The 37-year-old came from behind on the final producing a round of 66 (-5) to seal her maiden LET title after 15 seasons and 210 starts on Tour.
Expert opinion:“Nothing seemed to be pointing to an Eleanor Givens victory in Switzerland. Her club didn’t show until just before the start and she began the week outside the top 100 on the LET rankings. But in her 15th year as a pro and after more than 200 starts on the LET, the English player looked born to it and produced her best stuff in the heat of the battle to take the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open title and with it a cow trophy.”
Anna Huang (Canada)
Wins: 1

Canada’s Anna Huang captured her fourth LET title and her second of the 2026 season with an excellent victory at the PIF London Championship. The teenager was in a battle with home favourite Charley Hull but held on to hoist the trophy. Huang made an eagle on 18 during every round of the competition, and became the youngest player to win four LET titles.
Expert opinion: “Anna Huang the teenage sensation is at it again. The 17-year-old had the biggest win of her career holding off world number eight Charley Hull in a stunning battle at the PIF London Championship. She eagled the last to clinch her fourth LET trophy.”
Casandra Alexander (South Africa)
Wins: 1

South Africa’s Casandra Alexander clinched her second LET title in style at the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open completing a wire-to-wire victory at The K Club. The LET Order of Merit fired a course record 63 (-9) on the opening day and never relinquished her lead, finally securing her long-awaited victory after five runner-up finishes on the LET in 2026.
Expert opinion: “Even though Casandra Alexander started August as number one on the LET rankings, there was one major omission from her season – a victory. She arrived in Ireland determined to put that right and the South African did it in style leading every step of the way from her Thursday 63 (-9) to the final putt, giving her season the victory gloss it deserved.”
Shannon Tan (Singapore)
Top-10s: 2

Singapore’s Shannon Tan continued her excellent form in the summer with two further top-10 finishes on the LET. After her best major finish at the AIG Women’s Open, Tan headed to London where she ended the week in solo third after a final day 64 (-9) and she added another top-10 with a T6 result at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open.
Expert opinion: “Shannon Tan was at her consistent best in August with two top-10 finishes in London and Ireland. Tan is looking to go back-to-back with Player of the Month wins after scooping last month’s award following her best major finish at the AIG Women’s Open.”
