The Dutch Ladies Open is the 13th event on the Ladies European Tour (LET) schedule in 2026 and is taking place at Goyer Golf & Country Club between June 19-21.
Last year, the tournament became ISO-Certified which was a recognition of the sustainability policy of the Netherlands Golf Federation (NGF) and was based on the findings of Dutch company Kiwa.
Goyer Golf & Country Club is a GEO certified course, which is the international sustainability certification for golf courses focused on responsible and future-proof management.
In terms of initiatives taking place this year, a key part is the use of 100% green electricity with all energy at the Dutch Ladies Open coming from stored power via batteries, and the electricity generated through solar panels and purchased wind energy.
This year, more chicken will be served on the menu which means the CO2 emissions per meal will be up to 70% lower compared to beef, and thanks to reusable water bottles and stations the number of plastic bottles has been significantly reduced.
Nature walks will be taking place during the 2026 Dutch Ladies Open with the Goyer home to an impressive 481 recorded species and 339 plant species.
Spectators are encouraged to use bicycles to get to the course and there are also bikes available for players to utilise from the hotel to the course. Additionally, the NGF is continuing to measure the footprint of the event to prove they are improving year on year.
The LET highlights sustainability activations through the LET Sustainability Initiative (LETSI) is about using the power of our tournaments to participate and showcase action and innovation across a range of priority issues such as environmental responsibility, community engagement, and working towards achieving tournament climate neutrality.
