A new year is upon us and 2025 looks to be another exciting year on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with 30 events across the globe.
The Tour will be visiting 20 countries across five continents for a total prize fund of €39 million with new venues and events to be confirmed.
But when does the season start? What’s new? Who will be competing? And when are the all-important tournaments? Here’s everything you need to know about the LET in 2025.
When is the first LET event of 2025?
The 2025 season kicks off in Africa with the stars of the LET heading to Morocco for the Lalla Meryem Cup.
Staged between 6-8 February, the season-opener marks the 28th edition of the tournament which is taking place at the Blue Course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, and will see a field of 108 players vying for their share of €450,000 across three days of action.
England’s Bronte Law was the champion last time out firing a phenomenal 64 (-9) in the final round to secure her third LET title.
What’s new in 2025?
There are new events taking place in 2025 with a third tournament in Australia being added to the schedule.
The inaugural Australian WPGA Championship, taking place from 6-9 March, will be the first of three tournaments co-sanctioned between the LET and the WPGA Tour of Australasia.
June will see two new locations on Tour with the LET returning to Tenerife after a 10-year hiatus for the Tenerife Women’s Open at Abama Golf from 5-8 June.
The following week will see the Tour return to Belgium with the Hulencourt Women’s Open.
In August, there will be a new event in Sweden with the Hills Open stages at Hills Golf & Sports Club from 22-24 August.
When are the Majors?
The Amundi Evian Championship and the AIG Women’s Open will once again be highlights of the summer on the LET in 2025.
Japan’s Ayaka Furue will hope to defend her crown between 10-13 July at Evian Resort Golf Club.
Meanwhile, the AIG Women’s Open will take place in Wales with Royal Porthcawl hosting the prestigious tournament from 31 July to 3 August.
Who will be teeing it up in 2025?
There will be a mixture of known and new faces on the LET in 2025 with global superstars and rookies entering the fray.
Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini blitzed the season-long races in 2024 winning the Order of Merit and the Rookie of the Year titles, as well as being voted Players’ Player of the Year.
LET champions aplenty will be in tow in 2025 with seven-time LET winner Linn Grant of Sweden, Germany’s Alexandra Försterling, England’s Charley Hull, and Belgium’s Manon De Roey all seeking more glory.
A host of new faces will be on the LET this year with graduates making it through the LET Access Series (LETAS) and securing their cards at Lalla Aicha Q-School.
Ecuador’s Daniela Darquea, who won Lalla Aicha Q-School, will be one to watch as will Darcey Harry of Wales, Ireland’s Sara Byrne, Italian duo Alessia Nobilio and Anna Zanusso, India’s Avani Prashanth, and England’s Mimi Rhodes who all secured their place on Tour in 2025.
Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjäll will be hoping to make her mark this year after winning the 2024 LETAS Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles.
