Alongside the thrilling match play, fans will be able to enjoy a vibrant Fan Village packed with interactive golf experiences, partner activities, entertainment and opportunities to celebrate the history and future of the Solheim Cup.

Team Europe, captained by Anna Nordqvist, combines established Solheim Cup experience with a new generation of talent. World No. 6 Lottie Woad and World No. 7 Charley Hull lead the charge, with Germany’s Esther Henseleit taking Europe’s total to three players inside the world’s top 20. The team also boasts major champions Maja Stark and Celine Boutier, alongside three players who have already tasted victory in 2026 – Hull, Woad, and Boutier.

Collectively, the team features eight LPGA winners and 11 LET winners, with more than 60 professional titles between them. Their Solheim Cup pedigree is equally impressive, with the team bringing 27 previous appearances, 101 matches and seven players who have represented a winning team.

Experience sits at the heart of Team USA, with Angela Stanford taking the captain’s role and leading the American challenge. World No. 1 Nelly Korda anchors the squad and is joined by World No. 18 Lauren Coughlin, giving Team USA two players inside of the world’s top 20.

The team also features three major winners – Korda, Jennifer Kupcho and Allisen Corpuz – who have collected six major titles between them, while Korda and Coughlin arrive with victories already secured in 2026.

The roster’s wider record includes nine LPGA winners and three LET winners, with 34 LPGA titles and six LET titles between them. Nine players have previously been part of a winning Solheim Cup team, contributing to a combined total of 24 appearances and 84 matches, while Auston Kim and captain’s pick Lindy Duncan prepare to make their debuts. This year’s week will open with the PING Junior Solheim Cup, pitting the best junior female golfers from Europe (aged 12-18) against their US counterparts on Monday 7 and Tuesday 8 September. It will be the first time the event has been played on the same course as the Solheim Cup, and Europe will be captained by Dutch favourite Anne van Dam, who represented Europe in the 2013 PING Junior Solheim Cup and the 2019 Solheim Cup. US juniors will be captained by Morgan Pressel, who has previously represented the US at six Solheim Cups, three of which the US emerged victorious.

Focus will then shift to the senior event, beginning with an opening ceremony in the Fan Village. The programme will feature the teams’ introduction, the captains’ speeches and the revealing of the Friday morning pairings. Dutch party band Hot Town will close-out the ceremony celebrations with a live set, continuing into the evening.

The 20th edition of the Solheim Cupwill be delivered with the help of 950 volunteers, 52% of whom are female. The competition is also supported by an exceptional group of brands, including Global Partners PING, Skyscanner and Rolex, and Event Partners PING Europe, BrabantSport, E-Z-GO, John Deere, TUMI and the Government of the Netherlands – each uniquely contributing to the tournament experience both on and off the course.
