- Three captain’s picks named live on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. ET
Following the CPKC Women’s Open, Andrea Lee and Alison Lee have clinched their spots on the 2026 U.S. Solheim Cup Team via the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. Andrea held the first of two spots for over two months, while Alison climbed into the second spot following The Standard Portland Classic.
Andrea will play in her third Solheim Cup, having previously clinched her spot as an automatic qualifier in both 2023 and 2024. The 28-year-old has a 3-2-2 record over seven career Solheim Cup matches, which includes two impressive four ball victories of 5 and 4 and 6 and 4 in 2024 alongside Rose Zhang.
In the last two seasons on the LPGA Tour, Andrea has 18 top-25 finishes, including a T10 finish at the 2026 HSBC Women’s World Championship. She leads in fairways in regulation percentage this season and also led the Tour in that category last year.
Alison will also compete in her third Solheim Cup, having played on victorious U.S. Solheim Cup Teams in both 2015 and 2024. She has a 2-5-0 record across seven matches and is notably the first player to qualify for the 2026 team that has been on a winning team in Europe.
This will be her first appearance in the biennial event since her son, Levi, was born in April 2025. Alison was expecting when she competed for the Red, White and Blue in 2024. She will be the first mom to compete on the U.S. Team since Cristie Kerr in 2017. Former U.S. Solheim Cup Captain Stacy Lewis was also a mother when she was set to compete in 2019, but she withdrew due to injury before play began.
The 31-year-old was out on maternity leave for the majority of the Qualification Period, but she picked up three top-five finishes in this season alone at the Mizuho Americas Open (T3), Dow Championship with partner Lilia Vu (T3) and KPMG Women’s PGA Championship (T5).
The players that qualified through the U.S. Solheim Cup points standings are Nelly Korda, Angel Yin, Jennifer Kupcho, Yealimi Noh, Auston Kim, Lauren Coughlin and Allisen Corpuz.
