The 2026 Amundi Evian Championship takes place this week as the 16th event on the Ladies European Tour (LET) calendar.
A field of 132 players will contest the fourth Major of the year at Evian Resort Golf Club with a prize purse of $9.1 million up for grabs.
It is the 32nd edition of the tournament which began on the LET in 1994 and has grown from an LET event to a co-sanctioned event with the LPGA Tour and a Major championship since 2013.
A total of nine former champions are teeing it up again this week including defending champion Grace Kim of Australia who defeated Jeeno Thitikul in a playoff in 2025.
Kim is joined by Celine Boutier (2023), Ayaka Furue (2024), Brooke Henderson (2022), Hyo Joo Kim (2014), Jin Young Ko (2019), Lydia Ko (2015), Minjee Lee (2021) and Anna Nordqvist (2017).
From the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, 23 out of the top 25 players in the world are teeing it up including all of the top 10 and major winners from 2026 Nelly Korda and Haeran Ryu.
For the LET, there are 15 LET winners from the 2025 season in attendance and nine winners from the 2026 LET season here this week. In total, there are 53 LET winners in the field who have a combined total of 139 LET wins between them.
Seven LET members are making their Amundi Evian Championship debut with Kajsa Arwefjäll, Kelsey Bennett, Esme Hamilton, Anna Huang, Polly Mack, Carla Tejedo Mulet and Lauren Walsh all teeing it up. Additionally, it’s a first Major appearance for Sweden’s Arwefjäll and England’s Hamilton.
South Africa’s Casandra Alexander is the LET Order of Merit leader heading into this week and the top five in the LET ranking are playing and vying for more points.
