EURO SWING CONTINUES THIS WEEK WITH TIPSPORT CZECH LADIES OPEN

Royal Beroun Golf Club

The Ladies European Tour (LET) is back in Beroun, Czech Republic this week for the eighth staging of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open.

The tournament marks the 14th stop of the 2026 season with 132 players from 34 nations teeing up in the 54-hole competition. A total purse of €350,000 is up for grabs with the winner claiming €52,500 on Sunday 28 June.

Royal Beroun Golf Club, located 30 minutes west of Prague, is on hosting duties once again. The par-72 has staged every edition of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open since 2020.

Leading the field on home soil are two-time LET winners Sara Kouskova and Jana Melichova. The latter won this event as an amateur in 2022 while Kouskova is her nation’s highest ranked player in the world sitting 183rd in the Rolex Rankings.

The duo are part of eight players from Czech Republic competing in Beroun – a group which includes fellow LET winner Kristyna Napoleaova as well as Tereza Melecka, Patricie Mackova and rookie Lucie Vachova. Sadly the only other Czech winner on Tour, Klara Davidson Spilkova, is absent at her home event this week.

In the LET Order of Merit, leader Casandra Alexander is over in the States competing at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. The South African won this event in 2025 setting the course record 62 (-10) on the final day to claim a dramatic victory.

With Alexander not back to defend her crown, France’s Agathe Laisne is the highest ranked player in the season-standings teeing up in Beroun. Laisne has 1,518.30 points to her name thanks to wins in Australia and South Africa. She can leapfrog Alexander with a runner-up finish or better in the Czech Republic.

Three other winners from 2026 are also in the field with Germany’s Leonie Harm and England’s Esme Hamilton teeing up as well as last week’s winner, Aunchisa Utama from Thailand. Utama won her maiden LET title at the Dutch Ladies Open on Sunday defeating Norway’s Dorthea Forbrigd in a playoff. Hamilton meanwhile finished T2 at this event in 2025 prior to her breakthrough win at the Investec SA Women’s Open.

Spain’s Marta Martin and India’s Diksha Dagar join Melichova as the other two past champions in the field. The former claimed a four-shot victory in 2024 and will be excited to tee up after withdrawing from her title defence with injury last time out. Dagar meanwhile also claimed a four-shot victory in 2023 to earn her second LET win.

The 2026 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open takes place between Friday June 26 until Sunday June 28 at Royal Beroun Golf Club in the Czech Republic.
