Boeljon keeps lead heading into the final nine holes

Overnight leader Christel Boeljon was still ahead of the chasing back with just nine holes to go at the Deloitte Ladies Open.

The 27-year-old Dutchwoman began the final round at eight under par with a three stroke lead over Stacy Lee Bregman and birdied the first hole to get to nine under par, four ahead of three other players.

However she then bogeyed the par four fifth hole to slip back to eight under before Wikstrom came through the field with five birdies and a bogey in her first 10 holes to get within one of the lead.

Wikstrom, who has been a runner up four times in 12 years on tour, then bogeyed the 11th to give Boeljon a two stroke advantage.

Boeljon is attempting to become the second Dutch winner of the championship and first in 21 years, since Liz Weima won in 1994.
