AUSTRALIA’S BOSIO GIVEN HUGE BOOST AFTER SUPERB FORTNIGHT IN EUROPE

It has been a fortnight to remember for Justice Bosio on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with the Aussie recording back-to-back career-best finishes on the circuit thanks to some excellent golf.

Two weeks ago the 22-year-old, competing in her first full season on the LET, fired rounds of 69-69 over the weekend at the Dutch Ladies Open to end the tournament in T5 as Aunchisa Utama claimed victory.

One week later and Bosio’s hot streak continued as she carded a Sunday 64 (-8) at the Tipsport Czech Ladies – her best round to date on tour – to play her way into a playoff with Noora Komulainen and Lisa Pettersson.

Unfortunately a par in sudden-death saw Bosio miss out on a maiden victory as Komulainen earned an emotional victory, but the result capped off a superb fortnight for the Australian who is now rightfully full of confidence heading into the second half of the season.

“[The Dutch Ladies Open] was my highest finish on the LET which I was very happy about and then Czech was even better,” Bosio said. “I was playing well and the course was very scoreable. I just knew I needed to make as many birdies as possible. I went on a little run, four birdies in a row on the front nine. I was six-under through 10 holes. I had a feeling I was quite close but didn’t know exactly where I was at. The putts just didn’t drop on 18, both in regulation and in the playoff, but overall a really good week and I’m very happy how everything went.

“I was in a few playoffs last year on the LET Access Series (LETAS) too. I feel like that prepped me pretty well so I was actually ok with the nerves. I actually played with Noora [Komulainen] the first two days so it was so nice to see her win. Unfortunately it just wasn’t to be.”

The stellar fortnight has seen Bosio jump up to 22nd position on the 2026 LET Order of Merit. Having started her season on home soil at the Ford Women’s NSW Open, the 22-year-old has played in 12 events missing just two cuts. Her best finish prior to the Dutch Ladies Open was a T14 at the Amundi German Masters, with Bosio boosted by two-week break after the Jabra Ladies Open where she was able to fine tune her game.

“I did a lot of work in the two weeks we had off before these two weeks,” she explained. “I feel like going into this stretch I had a lot of confidence because of it. It’s nice to see that the practice paid off. I’m very excited for the rest of the season now. I’m actually going home after this week for two weeks which will be my first time going home since the Aussie swing. I’ve been over here for three months now. It will be good to go home and have a little reset.”

Bosio is one of several Australians now competing on the LET week-in-week-out alongside a tight knit group which includes Kelsey Bennett, Whitney Hillier, Kirsten Rudgeley, Maddison Hinson-Tolchard, Stephanie Bunque and Belinda Ji.

“All us Aussies have really good friendships,” Bosio said. “I think there’s a lot of fans out there that support us too. At the moment there’s so many of us on the LET which is so good to see. We all root for each other and if someone is doing well we’ll always try to go out and watch. We all hope the best for one another.

“My boyfriend has been over too which has been nice. He’s just been carrying the bag. It’s been a nice change. He has absolutely no idea what’s going on! The amount of times he asked if I made a birdie and so on. He’s just there for a good chat which was nice.”

As for this week, Bosio will tee up at the second edition of the Hulencourt Women’s Open where she will compete in Belgium for the first time. The Australian gets underway in the 72-hole event on Thursday at 13:52 local time playing alongside LET winners Liz Young from England and Chiara Noja from Germany.
