Record number of entries for 2016 Lalla Aicha Tour School

World No.9 amateur Luna Sobron from Spain, pictured here at the Ricoh Women’s British Open, has entered the LET’s Lalla Aicha Tour School.

The Ladies European Tour has received record levels of interest for Membership in 2016 with 229 entries for Lalla Aicha Tour School.

The first of four pre-qualifiers will be played from October 29 to November 1 at Mission Hills Haikou in Hainan, China, with the second being played from October 30 to November 2 at Mohammedia Golf Club in Morocco. A third pre-qualifier will be played from November 26-29 at Golf Club La Pradera de Potosi in Colombia, South America for the first time this year, followed by the fourth pre-qualifier from December 10-13 at Mohammedia Golf Club.

The Final Qualifying tournament will be played from December 18-22 over the Amelkis Golf Club and Samanah Country Club in Marrakech, Morocco.

The field of entries includes players from 43 different countries. England is represented by the most players with 36, followed by Sweden with 24, Spain with 19, France with 18 and the USA with 11. Countries with 10 representatives are Australia, Italy, Switzerland and Scotland. Finland has nine players, while Germany has seven, India six and Thailand and Colombia have five representatives each.

Russia has four players, while the Czech Republic, Belgium, Ireland and Iceland each have three.

Countries represented by two players are Chinese Taipei, Latvia, Austria, Netherlands, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Canada, South Africa and Austria.

The other countries represented are Brazil, China, Denmark, Hungary, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, South Korea, Swaziland, Trinidad and Tobago and Vietnam.
