Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjäll has been named the 2026 LET Player of the Month for September after winning almost half of the public votes, rewarding her consistency following two top five finishes in the two LET events played after the Solheim Cup, in Spain and Italy.
The Swede finished in solo fourth place at La Sella Open before a T5 at the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open, meaning that she had recorded five consecutive top-10 finishes and nine top-10 finishes in total in 2026 on the LET.
“I’ve been playing well for a while, so it was fun to make those two events my fourth and fifth top ten finishes in a row,” said the 2024 LET Access Series Order of Merit winner and Rookie of the Year, who has three wins on the LET’s developmental circuit, at the 2021 GolfUppsala Open, 2024 MoreGolf Mastercard and 2024 Destination Gotland Ladies Open.
Following a tie for 16th in last week’s Aramco Korea Championship, Arwefjäll is now ranked sixth on the LET Order of Merit and with four tournaments remaining, at the Hero Women’s Indian Open, Wistron Ladies Open, Aramco China Championship and the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de España, she is hoping that she can achieve her season goal.

“Even though I played great last month, I still felt like I left some shots out there, but it was great fun to be able to do what I love and to do it well.
“I’m hitting the ball very well, as the stats showed. At the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open, I was the tournament category leader in Strokes Gained approach, but ranked 70th in putting, so that shows me what I need to work on. Hitting it well on the fairways and greens gives me a lot of birdie opportunities, because I do hit a lot of greens and I’m also ranked number one in total number of birdies and pars made so far this year, so hopefully more putts can drop and I can get my first win on Tour.”
The Hero Women’s Indian Open takes place next week, on October 22-25 and Arwefjäll will be back in action alongside the other stars of the LET at DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurgaon.
