The 2026 edition will once again feature a €700,000 prize fund, thanks to the support of Andalucía and Costa del Sol. The tournament is set to play a key role in the closing stages of the season, with both the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España title and the LET Order of Merit still to be decided.
La Cala Resort will serve as the host venue for the championship for the first time. Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, the resort boasts three championship courses designed by Cabell B. Robinson and the largest integrated golf offering at a single resort in Spain. Competition will take place on the Europa Course, a strategic and demanding layout where precision and decision-making will be crucial.
The tournament will also maintain its strong connection with Andalucía and the Costa del Sol, a destination that has established itself as one of Europe’s leading golf regions thanks to the quality of its courses, its extensive tourism offering and a climate that allows golf to be played year-round.
As every year, the organisation has also launched its volunteer recruitment programme for those wishing to become part of the championship team. Volunteers play a vital role in the successful staging of an event of this scale and enjoy a unique opportunity to experience one of the standout tournaments on the LET schedule from the inside.
Those interested in joining the volunteer team can complete their registration through the dedicated section on the tournament’s official website. Sign up as a volunteer.
A 75-player field will tee it up at La Cala Resort for an event that has become a key fixture on the Ladies European Tour calendar. Over four days of competition, spectators will have the opportunity to watch some of the world’s best golfers compete up close in a first-class setting.
