MCGINTY LEADS ROOKIE OF THE YEAR STANDINGS AFTER AUSTRALIAN SWING

Caley McGinty

With five events of the 2026 Ladies European Tour (LET) completed, it’s England’s Caley McGinty who sits at the top of the Rookie of the Year rankings.

The Rookie of the Year is a season-long race, which will see the best newcomer on Tour crowned at the end of 2026.

It was a strong start to her LET career for McGinty, as she played in all four events during the Australian swing and has earned 440.67 points to sit at the top of the rookie rankings.

The 25-year-old started her LET career finishing in a share of fifth place at the Ford Women’s NSW Open in Wollongong.

McGinty followed that up with a T2 result at the Australian Women’s Classic at Magenta Shores before the Bristolian also had another top-20 finish with T18 at the Australian WPGA Championship.

After the first five events of the season, the English star has a 210.09-point lead ahead of her compatriot Charlotte Heath.

It was also a good month for LETAS graduate Heath as she recorded top-5, top-25 and top-50 finishes in Australia to be second in the standings.

Italy’s Roberta Liti is in third place in the rankings with 162.08 points from her first four events with Australia’s Stephanie Bunque in fifth.
