June Player of the Month shortlist
Sára Kousková (Czechia)
Wins: 1

Sára Kousková had an excellent start to June as she lifted another trophy on the LET after winning the Tenerife Women’s Open by one stroke. Rounds of 71-68-69-71 saw the Czech star claim back-to-back victories in the schedule, having won the Jabra Ladies Open at the end of May.
Expert opinion: “Sára Kouskovámade it back-to-back victories in style with her latest triumph at the stunning Abama Golf in Tenerife. The Czech star held her nerve with a nail-biting finish to win by one shot. The victory propelled Kouskova to second on the LET Order of Merit and a career high ranking on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.”
Darcey Harry (Wales)
Wins: 1
Top-10s: 1

Darcey Harry became the second rookie to win on the LET this year as she stormed to a three-shot victory at the Hulencourt Women’s Open. Having been in contention all week, Harry pulled away on the final day with a closing round of 68 (-4) to get her hands on the trophy just one day after she celebrated her 22nd birthday.
Expert opinion: “It’s not every year your birthday wishes can come true, but that’s how it worked out for Darcey Harry in Belgium. The rookie from Cardiff celebrated her 22nd birthday on the day of the third round and got the ultimate present the following day. In just her eighth LET start, she walked away with the trophy and with it came her place at the AIG Women’s Open at her home course of Royal Porthcawl.”
Casandra Alexander (South Africa)
Wins: 1

A sensational course record of 62 (-10) saw Casandra Alexander complete an incredible comeback at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. The South African had an ACL injury in May and only returned to competition at the start of June. Alexander went bogey-free on the final day chipping in for eagle at the last to seal her maiden LET title.
Expert opinion: “In May, Casandra Alexander was forced to stop playing in the form of her life by an ACL injury. Somehow, she returned at the beginning of June determined to play her way into the Amundi Evian Championship. All hope looked lost after an opening 73 in Czechia that left her in T94 and struggling to make the cut. Two days later, she was the champion as a second round 64 was followed by an incredible 62 concluded with a chip-in eagle at the last.”
Shannon Tan (Singapore)
Wins: 1
Top-10s: 2

After a tense final day in Hamburg, Shannon Tan became a two-time winner on the LET securing a one-stroke victory. The Singaporean tamed the Green Monster with her strategy of fairways and greens. Despite struggling in the last round, Tan rolled in her par putt on 18 to seal the win and become the youngest LET winner of the year.
Expert opinion: “Singapore’s top golfer ended her June on a high with a brilliant victory at the Amundi German Masters. She conquered the formidable Green Monster in Hamburg and held off a spirited performance from Helen Briem, securing her second LET title. It’s a win that’s been building with two top-10 finishes earlier in the month, but this victory is undoubtedly a highlight.”
