Singapore’s Shannon Tan has been named the Ladies European Tour (LET) Player of the Month for June 2025.
Voted for by the fans on LET’s website, Tan was shortlisted by commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker, alongside South Africa’s Casandra Alexander, Wales’ Darcey Harry, and Czechia’s Sara Kouskova.
The 21-year-old has had a great stretch of events on the LET this season, and became a two-time winner at the Amundi German Masters at the end of June. The Singaporean tamed the Green Monster of Green Eagle Golf Course with her strategy of fairways and greens, and secured a one-stroke victory ahead of Germany’s Helen Briem. Tan was three shots clear heading into the final round, and so despite struggling on the last day, she was still able to roll in a par putt on 18 to seal the win and become the youngest LET winner of the year.
Having had three top-10 finishes earlier in the month at the Jabra Ladies Open (2), Tenerife Women’s Open (T6), and Hulencourt Women’s Open (T10), this win was on the horizon and just around the corner. With this recent form, Tan sits in third place in LET’s Order of Merit, with 1,391.59 points to her name.
On winning the award, she said: “Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I really appreciate all the support. Getting my second LET win at the 2025 Amundi German Masters was already such a special moment, and being named Player of the Month has made it even better.”
Tan joins Mimi Rhodes, Casandra Alexander, and Jeeno Thitikul, having all won the monthly awards for 2025.
The two-time LET winner will be teeing it up this week at The Amundi Evian Championship in France, 10-13 July.
