SIX STORYLINES AHEAD OF 2026 JABRA LADIES OPEN DE FRANCE

Evian Resort Golf Club

This week sees the 12th event of the Ladies European Tour (LET) season with the newly-named Jabra Ladies Open de France.

Evian Resort Golf Club is once again the host venue for the tournament, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026.

Here are a few things to know before the tournament gets underway on Thursday.

A new chapter in history

Following an announcement earlier this year, the French Golf Federation, Evian Tournaments Organisation and the LET announced the arrival of the Ladies Open de France at Evian Resort as of 2026.

Marking a new chapter in the history of French golf, the Jabra Ladies Open de France takes place May 28-30 with an increased prize purse of €450,000 for the 54-hole tournament.

The partnership will also see the tournament take place on the shores of Lake Geneva for the next five years.

Former champions in town

Two former champions will be teeing it up at Evian Resort Golf Club with Czechia’s Sara Kouskova and Slovenia’s Pia Babnik both playing.

Kouskova is the defending champion having secured her maiden LET title here in 2025 making birdies on her final two holes to defeat Singapore’s Shannon Tan by two strokes.

Babnik also clinched her maiden title here five years ago when she defeated England’s Annabel Dimmock in a playoff.

Major places at stake

Places at the 2026 Major Championships are on the line this week with the winner of Jabra Ladies Open de France booking their spot at the AIG Women’s Open, which will take place at Royal Lytham & St Annes.

Additionally, one player – who is not already exempt – finishing in the top 10 and ties at the 2026 Jabra Ladies Open de France will clinch a spot at The Amundi Evian Championship.

Three OOM champions in the field

There are three Order of Merit champions teeing it up in France this week as Singapore’s Shannon Tan, Thailand’s Trichat Cheenglab and England’s Georgia Hall are in attendance.

Tan won the 2025 LET Order of Merit and Players’ Player of the Year awards and finished as runner-up here in 2025. Cheenglab secured the Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles back in 2023.

Meanwhile Hall, who won the Order of Merit in both 2017 and 2018, is making her first start since the birth of her first child earlier this year.

Strong home showing

A total of 20 French will players will be teeing it up in their home open this week hoping to put in a good performance in front of their fans.

There are five French LET winners with Anne-Lise Caudal, Agathe Laisné, Celine Herbin, Camille Chevalier, and Anne-Charlotte Mora all playing.

Additionally, there are five French amateurs in the field including former PING Junior Solheim Cup players Constance Fouillet and Alice Kong.

Re-rank on the line

After the conclusion of the Jabra Ladies Open de France, the first re-rank of the 2026 LET season will take place.

Players have the chance to improve their category throughout the season by performing well and then securing a better category after a re-rank, which means they have the opportunity to play in more events.

This week is the final event that counts towards the first re-rank of the year, so there will be plenty of players hoping to have a good week at the beautiful Evian Resort.
