The Ladies European Tour (LET) has wrapped up its tournaments for October meaning it’s time to cast your vote for Player of the Month.
With the end of season in sight, the Tour headed to Asia in October for the ever-present Hero Women’s Indian Open followed by the Wistron Ladies Open in Chinese Taipei.
LET commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker decided upon the nominees for the 2025 October Player of the Month award…
Shannon Tan (Singapore)
Wins: 1

Already a winner this season at the Amundi German Masters, Shannon Tan made it two wins for 2025 by clinching the Hero Women’s Indian Open in Delhi. The Singaporean was seven back heading into the final round at DLF Golf & Country Club, but a Sunday 67 (-5) helped her pip Alice Hewson to the trophy to claim a third LET title. With the dramatic victory, Tan moved to the top of the Order of Merit standings. She followed this up with a T44 finish at the rain-hampered Wistron Ladies Open.
Expert opinion: “Shannon Tan soared to the top of the Order of Merit in October with her second win of the year at the Hero Women’s Indian Open. Fittingly, there was drama at the beginning and end of the week for Tan – her arrival in India was delayed two days due to the VISA issues. But the Olympian left India with the perfect souvenir, a brand-new trophy.”
Amelia Garvey (New Zealand)
Runner-ups: 1

Big-hitting Amelia Garvey continued her excellent rookie season in October finishing runner-up to Yani Tseng at the Wistron Ladies Open. The New Zealander had finished solo third on three occasions prior to teeing up at Sunrise Golf & Country Club, but she went one better in Chinese Taipei thanks to a sensational 65 (-7) on Sunday.
Expert opinion: “Garvey is having a superb rookie season on the LET and the 25-year-old continued her impressive year recording her best finish yet at the Wistron Ladies Open. The Kiwi saved her best golf of 2025 for Taipei firing a stunning 65 (-7) – her lowest round of the year – to earn her biggest payday yet. Garvey’s consistent performances have now lifted her to 12th on the Order of Merit.”
Yani Tseng (Chinese Taipei)
Wins: 1

Former World No 1 Yani Tseng produced one of best sporting moments of 2025 in Chinese Taipei winning her first title in over a decade. Having battled the yips for several years, the five-time Major winner took to the greens left-handed on home soil carding rounds of 63 (-9) and 67 (-5) to win by four. Tseng would accept immediate LET membership following the phenomenal victory.
Expert opinion: “It’s one of the comeback stories of the year. Yani Tseng, a legend and an icon, more than a decade in the wilderness, rolled back the years and putts… left-handed. Once the world’s best player, it had been 11 years and 9 months since her last win anywhere. But, at a weather hit Wistron Ladies Open, close to home and in front of family and friends, Tseng showed her class and why she didn’t walk away from the game to become a champion again.”
Hitaashee Bakshi (India)
Top-5s: 1

Hitaashee Bakshi secured full playing rights for 2026 at the Hero Women’s Indian Open recording her best finish to date on the LET. Teeing up at her home club, the Indian lit things up over the first three days carding rounds of 70-67-70 to lead by three. Sadly it wasn’t to be for the Indian on Sunday, but thanks to an excellent week Bakshi was able to finish solo third and jump 52 spots in the Order of Merit. She would follow this up with a solid T21 finish at the Wistron Ladies Open.
Expert opinion: “What is the definition of achievement? Hitaashee Bakshi may not have walked away from the Hero Women’s Indian Open with the trophy, but you cannot say she did not come away as one of the winners from her national open. The Indian had looked set to return to Q-School and knew she was in the last chance saloon. At the tough DLF Golf and Country Club, at a tournament where she was once a volunteer, Bakshi delivered the best performance of her young career. Third place, card guaranteed, a week to be proud of.”
