Aunchisa Utama (Thailand)

Wins: 1

Thailand’s Aunchisa Utama entered the winner’s circle on the LET for the first time after triumphing in a playoff victory at the Dutch Ladies Open at Goyer Golf & Country Club. The 35-year-old saved par on her last hole in regulation play to set the clubhouse lead and then rolled in her birdie putt in the playoff to secure her third professional title and first outside of Thailand.

Expert opinion: “35-year-old Aunchia Utama from Thailand celebrated a breakthrough moment by claiming her first LET title. Starting the final round five shots behind, she produced a stunning bogey-free 66 to force a playoff before holding her nerve to win the Dutch Ladies Open.”

Noora Komulainen (Finland)

Wins: 1

Finland’s Noora Komulainen clinched her maiden LET title after over a decade on Tour at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. The Finn rolled four consecutive birdies in her last four holes to seal a place in the playoff and then made another birdie to seal victory. Komulainen had her family including five-year-old daughter Elli watching on from the sidelines in Czechia.

Expert opinion: “Closing in on 200 events and 14 years on Tour, Noora Komulainen produced a memorable and emotional victory at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. Komulainen said it had always been a dream to win in front of her family, so with her husband on the bag and daughter Elli greeting her winning moment. Dreams did come true.”

Justice Bosio (Australia)

Top-5s: 2

Australia’s Justice Bosio has been building her form in recent weeks as she finished in a share of fifth place at the Dutch Ladies Open after consistent rounds of 71-69-69. The 22-year-old headed to Czechia and continued that good form with rounds of 67-67-64 to set the clubhouse lead and ultimately end up in the playoff. Although, she lost out the T2 finish at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open is now her best-ever results on the LET.

Expert opinion: “There’s no doubt that Justice Bosio has made her mark on the LET in June and came within a whisker of her first title. After impressing with her best finish on Tour, fifth place at the Dutch Ladies Open, the Australian improved on that by making a Sunday charge in Czechia a week later. A last day 64 saw her make the playoff, no win this time, but Bosio is certainly getting might close.”

The Swedish star started the month with a T13 finish at the Dutch Ladies Open before putting herself in contention in Czechia. Rounds of 66-65-67 put Pettersson in the playoff and she finished the week in a share of second place.
