The Ladies European Tour (LET) continues its Asian swing and heads to Chinese Taipei this week for the Wistron Ladies Open.
It is the 27th event of the 2026 LET season and will see a field of 108 players representing 26 nationalities compete in a 72-hole stroke play, with a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties.
The tournament is co-sanctioned by the LET and the TLPGA, it is the third co-sanctioned edition of the event and the seventh overall edition.
Sunrise Golf and Country Club will host the Wistron Ladies Open once again and this year there is an increased prize fund to $1.2 million USD.
All six previous winners of the tournament are in attendance including five-time Major champion Yani Tseng, who won on home soil in 2025, and Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini, who won in 2024.
Tseng won her seventh LET title here in 2025 with an emotional victory on home soil in a tournament which was reduced to 36 holes.
Meanwhile, Tamburlini secured her third LET title of the 2024 season here on the way to winning the Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles.
South Africa’s Casandra Alexander leads the LET Order of Merit and will be looking to secure the 2026 title this week.
Alexander is one of 11 winners from the 2026 LET season including Thailand’s Pornanong Phatlum, who was victorious at last week’s Hero Women’s Indian Open.
There are three LET rookies teeing it up this week at Sunrise Golf and Country Club with Anna Morgan of the USA, England’s Charlotte Heath and Sweden’s Louise Rydqvist all here.
Morgan currently leads the Rookie of the Year standings just ahead of Heath with both vying for more points this week with just three events of the year remaining.
Solheim Cup winner Mimi Rhodes of England tees it up on the LET for the first time since Europe regained the trophy at Bernardus Golf in September.
