Agathe Sauzon recorded her best-ever finish on the Ladies European Tour (LET) at last year’s edition of the Jabra Ladies Open.
The Frenchwoman finished in a share of second place alongside Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini and three strokes behind eventual winner Morgane Metraux.
Having previously lived close by, the 33-year-old knows Evian Resort Golf Club really well and considers it like home.
“It’s always great to be here,” said Sauzon. “I love that golf course and I lived here, so I know it really well and I lived close by, so I always have good memories every year.
“But last year was special to finish second, I was not close to the win, but I felt great on every shot, and I knew my strategy quite well, I knew all the targets and where I wanted to hit. I feel confident on this golf course.
“Last year, I didn’t have my family here. I had no one, but it still feels like home because I know a lot of people around here and it’s nice to have the French support. My mum is coming I think tomorrow and Friday, and my boyfriend is coming to caddie for the tournament. It’s going to be nice.”

It’s not been the best start to the year for the Frenchwoman, who has only made two cuts in 2025.
However, both of those results have come in recent events and Sauzon believes her game is trending in the right direction.
She continued: “This year has been a little bit hard, I’ve changed a bit my game and my swing in the winter, so it was tough to get in tournament mode again.
“I was focused a bit too much on my technique. It’s getting better, I’m positive, I know I can do well and I just have to wait to see it in the moment.
“It’s about finding a good zone. Sometimes, you don’t have to go for the pin, you can just play it a bit more safe on some holes, but it’s good target golf on tee shots and greens. Don’t miss in the wrong spot otherwise you have some really tough up-and-downs.”
The 2025 Jabra Ladies Open will see 132 players teeing it up in a 54-hole stroke play competition with a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties at the 36-hole mark.
Sauzon is one of 15 French players competing this week and believes the tournament is doing great things for women’s golf.
She added: “It’s nice that there are so many French players here. Jabra is doing a great job and they’re really supporting women’s golf and especially in France.
“It’s great that we see young amateurs as well, it’s nice to see everyone and hopefully, it will push them to have even more French players on Tour.”
