The Ladies European Tour (LET) season for 2023 is nearly over having had 28 events this year, there is just one event left at the season-ending Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España at Real Club de Golf Las Brisas.

There is plenty to play for with many battles having come down to the final event. Here is what you need to know ahead of this week…

Scenarios

If Trichat finishes tied alongside or ahead of Boutier, Dagar, Gustavsson, Försterling and Peláez Trivino then she will win the 2023 RTCDS and Rookie of the Year. In the process becoming the sixth player to win the Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles following in the footsteps of Dame Laura Davies, Carlota Ciganda, Esther Henseleit, Atthaya Thitikul and Linn Grant.

If Celine wins the finale in Spain, she will win the 2023 RTCDS.

If Celine finishes in solo second place, Trichat would need to finish in third or fourth place to win the 2023 RTCDS.

If Celine finishes in solo third place, Trichat would need to finish in 12th place or better to win the 2023 RTCDS.

If Celine finishes in solo fourth place, Trichat would need to finish in 43rd place or better to win the 2023 RTCDS.

If Diksha wins the finale in Spain, Trichat would need to finish in solo second place to win the 2023 RTCDS.

If Diksha finishes in solo second place, Trichat would need to finish in a tie for sixth place to win the 2023 RTCDS while Celine would need to win the finale.

If Diksha finishes in solo third place, Trichat would need to finish in 44th place or better to win the 2023 RTCDS while Celine would need to finish in fourth place or better.

Johanna Gustavsson, Alexandra Försterling and Ana Peláez Trivino would all have to win the finale in Spain to have a chance of winning the RTCDS.

If Johanna wins the finale, then for Johanna to win the Race, Trichat would have to finish fifth and lower.

If Alexandra wins the finale, then for Alexandra to win the Race, Trichat would have to finish ninth or lower.

If Ana wins the finale, then for Ana to win the Race, Trichat would have to finish 12th or lower.

  • Germany’s Alexandra Försterling would need to finish in third place or better and hope Gustavsson finishes outside the top 10 and Dagar finishes 25th or lower.
  • Spain’s Ana Peláez Trivino would need to finish in third place or better and hope Gustavsson finishes sixth place or lower, Dagar finishes 38th or lower and Försterling finishes fourth or lower.
  • Dutch star Anne Van Dam would need to finish in second place or better and hope Försterling and Peláez Trivino finish in fourth place or lower, Gustavsson finishes sixth place or lower and Dagar finishes in 42nd place or lower.
  • India’s Aditi Ashok, Czechia’s Klara Davidson Spilkova and Sweden’s Linn Grant all have outside chances for the top three but would need to win the finale in Spain and hope for favourable results.

  • Marta Sanz Barrio (62nd) is an invite this week in Spain and therefore will only earn RTCDS points if she wins the event.
  • Anne-Lise Caudal (71st) is an invite, however, she will get RTCDS points due to the fact that by the time the event started, she would have qualified via the OOM Exemption after being on the reserve list.
