The qualification process to earn a spot on the European Team at the 2024 PING Junior Solheim Cup has been confirmed as Team Europe aim to win for a third time in a row.
Twelve of Europe’s brightest young female golfers between the ages of 12 and 18 will battle against the U.S. Team at the Army Navy Country Club, Arlington on 8-10 September, 2024.
The European Team will be made up of the leading six players from the PING Junior Solheim Cup Rankings who will be automatically selected at the end of the qualifying period, while there will also be six Captain’s picks.
There will be nine Official European Qualifying events for the 2024 PING Junior Solheim Cup which will begin at the Portuguese International Ladies’ Amateur Championship on 24-27 January and is followed by the Spanish International Ladies’ Amateur Championship from 27 February to 3 March and French International Lady Juniors from 28 March to 1 April.
After a little break in the schedule, there is then a busy run of events in the summer starting with the German Girls Open, the ANNIKA Invitational Europe and The Women’s Amateur Championship in June.
They will then be followed by the European Ladies’ Team Championship and European Girls’ Team Championship in July with the Official qualifying period ending at the conclusion of the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship on 24-27 July with the European Team being announced after this competition.

“These qualifying events will bring out the top female junior players as they compete to earn a spot on the European PING Junior Solheim Cup team, and once again defend the trophy they triumphantly won in Spain in 2023.
“So many of the young players in the PING Junior Solheim Cup have continued on to play in the Solheim Cup, and we are looking forward to seeing more players do the same. We will be following the rankings with great interest as the team forms over the next year and we look forward to personally meeting all the players next September in Virginia, USA.”
