EUROFINS ANNOUNCED AS TESTING PROVIDER TO THE LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR

The Ladies European Tour is delighted to announce Eurofins as a testing provider for the 2021 season. Eurofins will provide COVID-19 testing on site at LET tournaments to allow players and staff to complete their season with ease.

Eurofins, a global leader in laboratory services, reacted quickly to meet the global challenge of COVID-19, by creating the capacity to help over 20 million patients monthly who may have been impacted by the pandemic with testing products and services. The Group has established widespread PCR testing capabilities and has carried out over 25 million tests in its own laboratories and established its SAFER@WORK™ testing, monitoring and consulting programmes to help support organisations, like the LET, to ensure safer environments, during COVID-19.

With Eurofins testing on site, it allows our players to concentrate on the sport in hand and not have to worry about testing while they are at tournaments. Eurofins’ services will allow our members to travel from country to country knowing the testing element of competition is covered.

The Italian Ladies Open, which was the second event on the LET 2021 season, was the first event where Eurofins provided testing services and the company will supply testing at certain tournaments throughout the rest of the 2021 season.

LET Director of Operations Diane Barnard said: “The Ladies European Tour and LET Access Series will travel across 40 different destinations and 20 different countries this year. A really important part of our protocols is the testing element. We are really pleased to be working with Eurofins to do our on-site testing and keeping everyone safe is our most important consideration.”
