Dame Laura Davies has launched a new website, lauradaviesgolf.com, which can be used to contact Dame Laura, book corporate days and follow her progress at tournaments, with a new Fan Club section coming soon.
Dame Laura is a winner of 79 worldwide tournaments including four major championships and she is the only player to have represented Europe 12 times in The Solheim Cup.
This week, she is competing in the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open presented by EventScotland at Archerfield Links in East Lothian, from August 29-31, teeing off in the first round at 1pm on Friday and 8.40am in Saturday’s second round.
Her amateur partner in the team competition is BBC Breakfast News presenter Naga Munchetty, an avid 9-handicap golfer who won Celebrity Mastermind in 2013 with her specialist subject ‘The Ryder Cup 1979-present.’ Naga says that playing with Laura is her dream because she is the UK’s best ever golfer and her sporting heroine from an early age.
