Greciet continues to lead after weather delay

Julie Greciet high fives her dad Roger after making a birdie putt on the short 11th hole

Final round play has resumed at the Sberbank Golf Masters after a one hour weather delay due to storms and torrential rain.

Overnight leader Julie Greciet of France held a four stroke lead over Ladies European Tour rookie Amy Boulden of Wales when play was suspended at 3.25pm local time. Sophie Giquel-Bettan and Lee-Anne Pace were one stroke further behind on 13-under-par.

Greciet had just birdied holes 14 and 15 and struck her tee shot on 16 when played was suspended.

Boulden was tied for the lead with Greciet after five birdies in her first six holes but after making the turn in two-under, Greciet regained her advantage with her third straight birdie on 11.

The 27-year-old from Bayonne in France two putted from eight metres on the par-5 14th for birdie before making another long putt on the par-3 15th.

She is now poised to collect her first victory in seven years on the Ladies European Tour. Her previous best finish was second in the 2011 Prague Golf Masters at Albatross Golf Resort.

Meanwhile fellow Frenchwoman, Anne-Lise Caudal, ended with a nine-under-par 62, which was the lowest round so far in the tournament, matching the opening round score by Laura Cabanillas last year.
