The Ladies European Tour (LET) is back on the road this week and begins its stint in Asia with the Aramco Korea Championship.
This week sees the fourth event of the 2026 PIF Global Series, after the PIF Saudi Ladies International, Aramco Championship and PIF London Championship took place earlier this year.
It is the third year in a row that the tournament has been held at New Korea Country Club, which will see a field of 108 players compete for a $2 million USD prize fund.
The format is a 72-hole stroke play competition with a cut to the top 60 professionals and ties after 36 holes.
World number four Hyo Joo Kim is the two-time defending champion having won in front of her home crowd in 2024 and 2025.
Kim is going for a three-peat this week on home soil but will face stern competition from world number five Miyu Yamashita, as well as fellow Korean major champions Jeongeun Lee6 and Sung Hyun Park.
LET Order of Merit leader Casandra Alexander of South Africa is in the field as is 2025 LET Order of Merit champion Shannon Tan, who claimed bronze at last week’s Asian Games, and 2026 PIF London Championship winner Anna Huang.
Solheim Cup star Carlota Ciganda is teeing it up alongside European golfing legend Suzann Pettersen, who won twice in Korea on the LPGA Tour.
With just five events of the LET season remaining, it’s all to play for with full LET status for 2027 and the Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles on the line.
The Aramco Korea Championship will take place at New Korea Country Club from Thursday October 8 until Sunday October 11.
