England’s Charlotte Heath is the new leader in the Rookie of the Year standings on the Ladies European Tour (LET) following her victory last month.
Heath secured her maiden LET title in Spain winning La Sella Open by two strokes with a score of 10-under-par.
“I don’t think it’s sunk in yet. This year, I’ve gone out in the leading group twice and I guess it’s third time lucky! I’m very happy to get it done. It was a relief knowing that I can do it [win],” said Heath.
“The Rookie of the Year is nice if you get it, but it’s not something I have focused on. If I focus on myself, then if someone plays better than me then that’s alright.”
The Englishwoman climbed to the top of the Rookie of the Year standings and now leads with 958.09 points.
American Anna Morgan is second in the rankings with 914.43 points and just 43.66 shy of Heath.

Morgan has accumulated point over the last month from her T17 in Ireland and T35 in Spain before she produced her best-ever finish on the LET with a T2 result at the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open.
The South Carolina native, who has been living out of her suitcase this season, said she enjoys playing on the LET and has been welcomed by everyone. Two of her roommates from college, Louise Rydqvist and Caitlyn Macnab, are also on Tour.
“It’s my first year and being one of the few Americans, everyone is super nice. I’m lucky I have a good group of girls to travel with,” Morgan said.
Korea’s Jenny Shin, who won the 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open, is in third with 763.57 points.
Spain’s Carolina Chacarra – the Hulencourt Women’s Open champion – is fourth with England’s Caley McGinty fifth, Italy’s Roberta Liti in sixth and Sweden’s Louise Rydqvist seventh.
