TAN NAMED LET PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR OCTOBER

Singapore’s Shannon Tan has been voted Ladies European Tour (LET) Player of the Month for October 2025.

New to this year, the LET Player of the Month award highlights and showcases the brilliant performances from our elite athletes seen on fairways across the globe.

Voted for by the fans on LET’s website and app, Tan was shortlisted by commentators Richard Kaufman and Sophie Walker. The 21-year-old was nominated alongside Chinese Taipei’s Yani Tseng, India’s Hitaashee Bakshi and New Zealand’s Amelia Garvey.

Voting concluded on Monday November 10 with Tan picking up her second Player of the Month accolade. The Singaporean also won June’s competition following her victory at the Amundi German Masters.

October was another stellar month for Tan who won her second LET title of the season – the third of her career – at the Hero Women’s Indian Open.

In the process, the Olympian also overtook England’s Mimi Rhodes at the top of the Order of Merit standings. She followed this up with a T44 finish at the 36-hole Wistron Ladies Open.

On winning the award, Tan said: “I’m really happy to be named LET Player of the Month for October! It’s been special to win on the LET for the third time, to do it in India, and to be recognised by the fans and the tour for the second time this year makes it even better. Thank you to everyone who voted. Your support keeps me going.”

Tan follows in Rhodes’ footsteps at the only other player to win two Player of the Month awards this season. In the Order of Merit, proceedings between the two are going right down to the wire with Tan 219.26 points ahead of the English rookie.

Just one tournament remains in 2025, the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open de Espana presented by OYSHO, which takes place between 27-30 November.
