After 30 events, the final week of the 2024 Ladies European Tour (LET) season is here as the Tour takes a trip to Malaga.
Spain and specifically the Costa del Sol is once again the destination for the LET’s season-ending event, the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho.
This week sees the final tournament of the year taking place between November 28 and December 1 at Real Club Guadalhorce Golf in Malaga.
The Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho will take place over 72 holes, with no cut, offering a prize pool of €700,000.
This week’s field sees the top-ranked players from the 2024 LET Order of Merit alongside 11 invites including three amateurs.
Three Spanish amateurs will be teeing it up with Andrea Revuelta, Paula Martin and Carla Bernat competing for the Celia Barquin Award.
Defending champion Aditi Ashok of India will be hoping to retain the crown she won at Real Club de Golf Las Brisas.
Ashok is not the only former winner in town with Sweden’s Caroline Hedwall (2022), Spain’s Carlota Ciganda (2021), Dutch star Anne Van Dam (2018, 2019) and South Africa’s Lee-Anne Pace (2013) all having previously won the tournament.
Although Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini wrapped up both the LET Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles earlier this month, there is still plenty to play for in Spain.
The top 10 on the LET Order of Merit at the conclusion of the tournament will earn themselves a spot at the Final Stage of LPGA Q-Series.
Meanwhile, there is also the battle on the bubble with the top 70 in the Order of Merit securing full playing rights for the 2025 season.
The Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho will take place from November 28 – December 1 in Spain.
