It is exactly one month until the 2024 Solheim Cup tees off at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia.

The 2024 AIG Women’s Open, which is being played at St Andrews, is the final qualification event for both the European and U.S. Teams.

At the conclusion of the final major of the year, the eight automatic European qualifiers will be confirmed with Captain Suzann Pettersen announcing her four picks on Monday 26 August.

Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking points were on offer at last week’s Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

England’s Charley Hull and Sweden’s Linn Grant are still sit in the two LET points spots with 178.25 and 139.55 points, respectively.

The next six spots will be filled by the top six eligible players through the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

France’s Celine Boutier, who is ranked seventh in the world, looks set for another Solheim Cup appearance and she is followed by Sweden’s Maja Stark and Ireland’s Leona Maguire.

Spain’s Carlota Ciganda sits in the fourth spot with Sweden’s Madelene Sagström in the fifth and England’s Georgia Hall currently taking the final points spot.

However, after her impressive silver medal performance in Paris, Germany’s Esther Henseleit is now just 0.01 points and two places behind Hall in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.

Henseleit is also in third place in the LET points list behind Hull and Grant, so it’s all to play for over the next two weeks in Scotland.
