The Ladies European Tour is delighted to confirm that La Sella Open will return to the schedule in 2024.
The €1 million tournament will be played for the second consecutive year at La Sella Golf Resort in Dénia, Alicante, one of the top courses in the Mediterranean.
It will be the 25th event on the LET calendar, taking place during the week after the Solheim Cup, on September 19-22, 2024.
At the inaugural La Sella Open, last July, Nuria Iturrioz of Mallorca, Spain, triumphed in a play-off over Laura Fuenfstueck of Germany to seal the €150,000 first prize at the magnificent venue, which includes the beautiful Hotel Denia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa.
The prestigious venue has hosted many important LET tournaments in the past, such as the European Nations Cup, a team event, from 2008-2011 and, the Rookie Orientation week, from 2015-2018.
Holding La Sella Open for the second time reaffirms La Sella Golf’s immense support for the women’s game.
