LET HEADS TO ANDALUCÍA FOR SEASON FINALE

After 28 events, the final week of the 2023 Ladies European Tour (LET) season is here as the Tour takes a trip from Mallorca to Andalucía.

Spain and specifically the Costa del Sol is once again the destination for the LET’s season-ending event, the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de España.

Real Club de Golf Las Brisas is the venue for this year’s finale where the winners of the year-long Race to Costa del Sol and Rookie of Year competitions will be decided.

Taking place between 23-26 November, the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España will take place over 72 holes, with no cut, offering a prize pool of €650,000.

The event brings together a lineup of 75 players from 22 countries with the field being comprised of three amateurs, eight invitees and 64 players from the top of the 2023 Race to Costa del Sol.

With it being the final event of the season, there is everything to play for as the 2023 Race to Costa del Sol reaches its dramatic conclusion.

All of the top 10 in the rankings are in attendance including new leader Trichat Cheenglab, Major champion Celine Boutier, Indian star Diksha Dagar, Sweden’s Johanna Gustavsson, last week’s winner Alexandra Försterling and Spain’s Ana Peláez Trivino

The top six all have a mathematical chance of winning the competition to be crowned the number one player on the LET and will be doing all they can to succeed in Spain.

While by the end of the week the 2023 Rookie of the Year will also be crowned with Cheenglab and Försterling going toe to toe.

The last two champions of the tournament will tee it up once more with Caroline Hedwall hoping to defend the title she won in a dramatic playoff last year, as well as home favourite and 2021 champion Carlota Ciganda
