Current LET No.3 Nicole Broch Larsen of Denmark heads the field
The draw and tee times have been announced for the first two rounds of the 2015 Xiamen International Ladies Open starting on Thursday at Orient (Xiamen) Golf & Country Club.
The tournament gets under way at 6.45am local time in China and among the notable names, recent European Solheim Cup team player Caroline Hedwall of Sweden will tee off from the 10th at 7.25am alongside China’s Yu Yang Zhang and Pei-Yun Chien of Chinese Taipei.
Denmark’s Nicole Broch Larsen and Gwladys Nocera from France, the LET numbers three and five respectively who have won in Sweden and Morocco this season, are next out with China’s Jing Yan at 7.35am.
England’s Hannah Burke, the Tipsport Golf Masters winner, will tee off at 7.45am along with South Korea’s So-Young Jang and China’s Ziqi Ye.
The defending champion Ssu-Chia Cheng of Chinese Taipei begins at 7.55am and she will play with Yan-Hong Pan of China and the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open winner Rebecca Artis from Australia.
In the next group at 8.05am, the ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters champion Beth Allen will play alongside China’s rising stars Yuting Shi and Wei Wei Zhang.
At 8.15am, Danish rookie professional Emily Kristine Pedersen, the runner-up after a play-off at the recent Lacoste Ladies Open de France, will play with Scotland’s Pamela Pretswell and Panpan Yan of China.
The LET has brought 62 players, who represent 22 different countries from across five continents, to the beautiful ‘ocean front garden’ city of Xiamen to form a strong field of 126 competitors with the co-sanctioning China LPGA Tour.
The tournament is supported by the China LPGA Tour, Xiamen Sports Bureau, Xiamen Hi-Chong District Government, Xiamen Golf Association and Multi-ball Games Administrative Centre of General Administration of Sport of China, as well as the China Golf Association (CGA).
Thanks to the LET international TV distribution, the Xiamen International Ladies Open will be broadcast in at least 76 countries and over 257 million households globally.
