WOMEN’S HEALTH SERVICES ON SITE AT 2025 ISPS HANDA WOMEN’S SCOTTISH OPEN

For the first time on the Ladies European Tour (LET), women’s health services were provided to players on site at Dundonald Links.

Thanks to the LET Performance Institute (LETPI), the Evewell Clinic was on site with players able to book one-to-one appointments for advice on their periods, fertility, and family planning.

Additionally, a 40-minute talk took place in the clubhouse on Wednesday evening, which players and staff could attend, on the topic of fertility.

A continuation of the research being conducted by Lewis Clark in collaboration with the Research Group in Breast Health was also happening on-site.

Players were able to get one-on-one bra fittings to ensure they are wearing a correctly fitting everyday bra and sports bra; meanwhile, new research was taking place into how your bra impacts your swing and ball flight.

The next stage of the research sees players try on different bras and then practice on the range wearing sensors, the data is then analysed using a launch monitor and 3D tools including a trackman.

Normal LETPI services such as physiotherapy, sports massage, sports medicine, and recovery facilities are available throughout the week.

Additional LETPI services were also available this week with LET Nutritionist Amy O’Donnell and LET Strength & Conditioning Lead Fiona Scott also on site on Tuesday and Wednesday.

A radiologist was also available on Wednesday to provide ultrasound examinations on joints or muscles.
