England’s Lottie Woad is officially a member of the Ladies European Tour (LET) following her three-stroke victory at the 2025 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open.
The 21-year-old won the 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open on the LET while still an amateur at the start of July, but decided to take deferred membership for 2026 and keep her amateur status for the fourth Major of the year.
Woad, who was the world number one amateur at the time, headed to The Amundi Evian Championship and finished in T3 – missing out on the playoff by just one shot at Evian Resort Golf Club.
Despite this, her result was enough to secure the final two points she needed through the LPGA Elite Amateur Pathway (LEAP) to earn her LPGA Tour card.
The English star then turned professional ahead of the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open at Dundonald Links and continued her sensational form on her professional debut.
She produced rounds of 67-65-67-68 to win in impressive fashion with a score of 21-under-par defeating world number 10 Hyo Joo Kim by three strokes.
Woad became the first player to win on their professional debut on the LET since Singapore’s Shannon Tan at the 2024 Magical Kenya Ladies Open and the first on the LPGA Tour since Rose Zhang at the 2023 Mizuho Americas Open.
With her victory, she had the option to take up immediate LET membership, which she accepted, and she will be in Category 8 (Non-Member Wins) and an LET rookie for the remainder of the 2025 season.
After winning in Scotland, the 2024 ANWA winner now sits 16th in the LET Order of Merit and fourth in the Rookie of the Year rankings with 750 points to her name, as well as 14th on the Team Europe Solheim Cup points list for 2026.
It’s been an amazing month for Woad, who is now 24 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, and she has a further opportunity to earn more points at this week’s AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl.
