WILSON EXCITED TO TRAVEL THE WORLD ON THE LET

Annabel Wilson

Annabel Wilson is looking forward to visiting new countries as she prepares to play on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2025.

The Northern Irish player attended two weeks of Lalla Aicha Q-School and secured her full card with a T8 finish in Morocco.

Wilson, who turned professional in August 2024, teed it up at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open on the LET.

She then played three LET Access Series (LETAS) events making the cut in all three events with a best finish of T18 at Lavaux Ladies Open.

The 23-year-old fired rounds of 75-67-68-69-69 to end Q-School with a total of 15-under-par.

“I’m feeling pretty exhausted, but I think it’s hitting me now,” she said after her final round. “I’m delighted, it’s been an amazing two weeks and I’m happy with the result for sure.

“I just played really good golf, and I think I managed my energy well throughout the two weeks, it’s a long journey. I felt like I still had enough energy in the tank for the final day, so it was mainly managing my energy was the number one priority.”

Wilson, who attended the University of California, Los Angeles, will be a rookie on the LET in 2025 and played in the Curtis Cup in 2021.

Hailing from Northern Ireland, the rookie is inspired by fellow pro golfer Rory McIlroy and is excited to travel the world on the LET.

She continued: “I enjoy the craic; I love to have good fun. Rory is a big hero of mine, it’s been great to grow up watching him play and do so well, he’s not far from where I grew up so a huge inspiration for sure.

“I need to sit down and figure out what the year looks like! I’m really looking forward to travelling east, I have never been to some of the countries that the LET has on the schedule, so I’m excited for that.”
