The prestigious Sports Personality of the Year Awards are set to take place on Sunday 14th December in London. A whole host of sporting achievements are set to be showcased within the programme, aired on BBC 1 (UK) at 8pm.

With such an outstanding year for Ladies golf it is eagerly anticipated that the winning European Solheim Cup team will stand a good chance of picking up the ‘Team of the Year’ award. Team Captain Catrin Nilsmark and some of the winning team’s players will be in attendance hoping to win.
There is some good competition with the England Rugby World Cup squad a favourite to win but the astounding achievements of our girls won’t be missed out.
