With just one event remaining on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2024, the players still have plenty to play for at the season finale in Spain.
The top 10 in the LET’s Order of Merit at the end of the season, following the conclusion of the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España presented by Oysho, will secure a spot in the Final Stage of LPGA Q-Series.
Final Qualifying for the LPGA will take place on the Crossings and Falls courses at Magnolia Grove Golf Club in Mobile, Atlanta between December 5-9.
Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini – who won both the LET Order of Merit and Rookie of the Year titles – has confirmed she will be teeing it up at Final Qualifying in December.
The battle surrounds the bottom of the top 10. Denmark’s Nicole Broch Estrup is currently in eighth on the list, but she will finish in the top 100 on the Race to CME Globe Points List and so won’t be attending Final Qualifying.
Spain’s Maria Hernandez is in ninth with Germany’s Alexandra Försterling occupying the final spot in 10th place.
Hot on Försterling’s heels is Kirsten Rudgeley of Australia (11th), England’s Liz Young (12th) and Austria’s Emma Spitz (14th).
Spain’s Marta Martin and Czechia’s Sara Kouskova also both have an outside chance of qualifying as they sit just over 200 points behind Försterling and would require a top three finish in Spain.
Ireland’s Lauren Walsh, who is 19th in the LET’s Order of Merit, attended the second stage of Qualifying and successfully qualified for the Final Stage.
With a chance to get to the Final Stage of LPGA Qualifying on the line, players will be trying their hardest to move into the top 10 and secure their spot.
