WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR IN 2026?

With everyone settling into 2026, it’s set to be another exciting year on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with an action-packed season ahead.

The Tour will be playing 30 events this year, visiting 21 countries across five continents while competing for a record total prize fund of more than €39 million.

There are new events, new venues and a prestigious 2026 Solheim Cup on the horizon. Here’s everything you need to know about the LET this year…

When is the first LET event of the season?

The LET 2026 season kicks off in Saudi Arabia with the stars of the LET heading to the PIF Saudi Ladies International.

Staged between 11-14 February, Riyadh Golf Club will be hosting for the third consecutive year with the tournament opening the LET season for the first time ever. The tournament boasts a prize fund of US $5 million.

A field of 120 players will be vying to capture the PIF Saudi Ladies International crown, which was won by world number one Jeeno Thitikul in 2025.

What’s new in 2026?

There’s a new event on the schedule in 2026 with the LET heading to Mauritius for the first time in its history for the MCB Ladies Classic – Mauritius. The event takes place between 1-3 May on the Legends Course at the Constance Belle Mare Plage.

A few tournaments will be returning to the LET schedule with the Women’s Australian Open, co-sanctioned with the WPGA Tour of Australasia, back on the schedule for the first time since 2016.

The Australian WPGA Championship will also take place for the first time in the four-event stretch Down Under after it was cancelled last year due to Cyclone Alfred. It will be played at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.

Similarly, the Ladies Italian Open also returns after a one-year hiatus. The tournament was last won by England’s Amy Taylor in 2024.

Meanwhile, the Aramco Championship will be co-sanctioned with the LPGA for the first time and played at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas.

When are the PIF Global Series events?

There will be five PIF Global Series events across the 2026 season starting with the season-opening PIF Saudi Ladies International in Riyadh from 11-14 February.

Next up is the Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek from 2-5 April followed by the PIF London Championship 6-9 August at Centurion Club.

The Aramco Korea Championship will be back at New Korea Country Club from 8-11 October with the Aramco China Championship at Mission Hills from 5-8 November.

In a change for 2026, the PIF Global Series events will all be played as 72-hole stroke play competitions with no team element.

When are the Majors?

The European swing on the LET will include the highlights of the Amundi Evian Championship and the AIG Women’s Open.

After a thrilling finish in 2025 which saw Grace Kim defeat Jeeno Thitikul in a playoff, the Australian will return to Evian Resort Golf Club to defend her crown between 9-12 July.

Meanwhile, the AIG Women’s Open is returning to Royal Lytham & St Annes, where Georgia Hall secured her major breakthrough in 2018, from 30 July to 2 August in 2026. Japan’s Miyu Yamashita will be defending her title in the iconic tournament.

When is the Solheim Cup?

The 20th edition of the Solheim Cup is back on European soil in 2026 with the Netherlands hosting the prestigious competition for the first time. It will take place between 11-13 September at the stunning Bernardus Golf just outside Den Bosch.

The week will start with the PING Junior Solheim Cup on 7-8 September before Team Europe and the U.S. Team battle it out with Europe looking to win back the trophy on home soil.

Who will be teeing it up?

There will be a mixture of known and new faces on the LET in 2026 with global superstars and rookies entering the fray.

Singapore’s Shannon Tan, who won the LET Order of Merit title in 2025 thanks in part to her two victories last season, will return to the circuit this season and be hoping for more success on the fairways.

Canada’s Anna Huang first year as a professional couldn’t have gone much better as the 17-year-old won back-to-back LET titles. She will be vying for more glory this year alongside close friend Tan.

LET champions aplenty will be in town in 2026 with the Solheim Cup not too far away. Europeans stars like Chiara Tamburlini, Mimi Rhodes, Helen Briem, Manon De Roey, Charley Hull will all be teeing it up.

A host of new and returning faces will be on the LET this year with graduates from the LET Access Series (LETAS) and those who secured their cards at Lalla Aicha Q-School.

Poland’s Dorota Zalewska, who won Lalla Aicha Q-School, will be one to keep an eye on alongside Scotland’s Hannah Darling, Ireland’s Aine Donegan, England’s Caley McGinty, plus Spanish trio Julia Lopez Ramirez, Carolina Lopez-Chacarra and Carla Tejedo Mulet.

England’s Gemma Clews will return to the LET having won the 2025 LET Order of Merit title, meanwhile compatriot Charlotte Heath will be an LET rookie in 2026 having won the LETAS Rookie of the Year last season.
