VOTE FOR YOUR FEBRUARY LET SHOT OF THE MONTH

We may have only had one tournament during the month of February, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have plenty of high-quality action to get stuck into over the four days of the Magical Kenya Ladies Open.

Esther Henseleit emerged victorious at Vipingo Ridge after a fantastic final day to finish top of the pile, as the German star defended the title she won back in 2019.

But elsewhere around the course, there was an abundance of skill on show, but we’ve whittled it down to just four for you to take your pick from to claim the Shot of the Month for February.

Marta Sanz Barrio was Henseleit’s closest challenger in the first event of the 2022 LET season, and the Spaniard produced a piece of magic on the 14th on the final day in Kenya to help her to finish second and get her season off to an excellent start.

Germany’s Sophie Hausmann also performed admirably in the season’s curtain-raiser after finishing in fourth, with her impressive full repertoire of shots – including an expertly executed recovery shot from the rough – helping her to put in a competitive performance.

It wasn’t to be for Linnea Ström in Kenya, with the Swede ultimately falling short after leading for the first three days’ action, although her delicate short game really caught the eye throughout the week at Vipingo Ridge.

And finally, the 17th proved to be one of the most difficult on the course throughout the week in Kenya, but Nuria Iturrioz made light work of the penultimate hole with her effort, as she finished just a matter of feet from the pin with a delightful effort.
