Frenchwoman Valentine Derrey is full of confidence on her Evian Championship debut having finished fourth in the Helsingborg Open last week.
The 27-year-old from Paris qualified for the major championship with her maiden LET victory at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open in May and she is currently sixth on the LET order of merit after three additional top 10s this year.
“It’s great. People are here to watch you and the course is in good shape. It’s my first time here so I didn’t really know the course before they made all the changes. I’m really happy and I feel good after my top five last week,” she said. “I think you need to be really precise when you are approaching the greens and be on the right part of the greens so that you have any easy putt for birdie.
“It’s my first time so I’ll just take one day at a time and see what happens. I’m not going to put too much pressure on myself. I’ll approach it the same as any other tournament.”
