The Turkish Airlines Ladies Open has been reduced to 54 holes due to adverse weather conditions and a waterlogged course at National Golf Club after at least 25mm of rainfall overnight, continuing through Friday morning.
The same tee times will apply for tomorrow (Saturday) as for the second round.
There will be a cut to the leading 60 players and ties after 36 holes.
The final 18 holes will be played on Sunday.
Tournament Director Steve Kavanagh said: “This decision has been taken with the forecast for heavy rain until mid-afternoon. The outlook for tomorrow is for occasional showers which will give the course ample time to recover and the green keepers time to repair any damage to bunkers. Sunshine is forecast for Sunday.”
