TOP BRITISH STARS CONFIRMED FOR 2025 ISPS HANDA WOMEN’S SCOTTISH OPEN

Charley Hull

The 2025 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open is set to welcome a stellar line-up of British talent, with World No.17 Charley Hull, Scotland’s Gemma Dryburgh, Major winner Georgia Hall, and rising English star Mimi Rhodes confirmed to compete at Dundonald Links from 24-27 July.

Two-time LPGA Tour title winner Charley Hull returns to Dundonald Links, a Darwin Escapes venue, for her 10th appearance at the event, following a strong fifth-place finish last year. The eight-time Solheim Cup player has an impressive record on links courses and will be aiming to improve on that result this summer.

Hull commented: “I love playing the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. Dundonald Links is a great host, and staying onsite makes everything so easy for us players. I’ve had a few decent finishes here and had a top 5 last year, so will look to improve on that this summer. I love the challenge of links golf, and it’s extra special for me playing the event as an ambassador of ISPS HANDA.”

Scotland’s own LPGA Tour winner Gemma Dryburgh will be leading the home challenge in what will be her ninth appearance at the event. The 2022 TOTO Japan Classic champion is excited to return to play in front of her home crowd, saying: “It’s always a special week at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open. Having all my family and friends there to support me, as well as playing in front of the Scottish crowd, is so much fun. I’ve been working hard and feeling good about my game, so I’m really looking forward to being back in Scotland and embracing the unique challenge of links golf.”

2018 AIG Women’s Open Champion Georgia Hall will also be making her return to Dundonald Links. She has proven to be one of the more consistent performers on links courses, with solid results at this event, including a T12 finish last year and her best performance of T9 in 2017.

Mimi Rhodes, one of British golf’s brightest rising stars and currently ranked No. 1 on the LET, will make her debut at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open this year. Following an impressive amateur career and a recent transition to the professional ranks, the 24-year-old has already claimed three wins on the LET this season.

“We’re thrilled to welcome back the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open to Dundonald Links for a fourth consecutive year,” said David Ross Nicol, director of golf at Dundonald Links. “This event continues to grow in prestige, and having world-class players like Charley Hull, Gemma Dryburgh, Georgia Hall and Mimi Rhodes competing here is a real honour. The course is in fantastic shape, and we’re excited to watch the world’s best female players compete on true Scottish links.”

The 2025 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open marks the second year with ISPS HANDA as title sponsor and will be held at Dundonald Links for the fourth consecutive year. The tournament returned to this venue in 2022 after a multi-million pound makeover by owners Darwin Escapes to transform the club into one of the UK’s finest golf resorts. It was also previously held there in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The Scottish Government and VisitScotland remain long-standing supporters of women’s golf, with a strong commitment to the 2025 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open.
