THE RISE OF WOMEN’S GOLF IN INDIA: PART TWO

The second part of a BBC documentary charting golf’s progress in a nation of 1.2 billion people is available to watch on BBC World News and News Channel from today – and iPlayer from tomorrow evening (Sunday 11 December). The Hero Women’s Indian Open, which began in 2007 and has been sanctioned by the Ladies’ European Tour since 2010, has kick-started several successful careers – including that of Aditi Ashok, who won as an 18-year old in 2016. This film recaps the performances of the Indian players this season and in the Hero Women’s Indian Open, which took place at DLF Country Club in Gurgaon.
