The pairings for the Saturday morning foursomes were announced late on Friday with both teams keeping with similar pairings from the first morning.
European Solheim Cup captain Suzann Pettersen mentioned that they would be ‘bringing the energy’ from the start on Saturday morning and they have gone with Carlota Ciganda and Emily Kristine Pedersen first up. The European duo will face off against Lilia Vu and Jennifer Kupcho.
Next up for Europe in the foursomes is Anna Nordqvist and Leona Maguire and they will play against U.S. duo Lexi Thompson and Megan Khang.
Georgia Hall and Celine Boutier are the third match of the morning for the Europeans with Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz teeing it up for the Americans.
The session is rounded out with Swedish rookies Maja Stark and Linn Grant alongside Danielle Kang and Andrea Lee.
Europe trails the U.S. 5-3 at the end of the first day of competition and will be hoping to get back on track at Finca Cortesin on day two.
