TEAMS DECIDED FOR ARAMCO TEAM SERIES – LONDON

This week sees the unique format of the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF event return to Centurion Club.

Two competitions will take place side by side with 108 professionals competing in a 54-hole stroke play, as well as a 36-hole Team competition.

The captains were decided based on the 36 best-ranked players in the field in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings on Monday 24th June.

Captains were able to pick one professional to join their team, while the third professional was randomly assigned before an amateur was also added to the team.

World number eight Charley Hull had the last pick and chose close friend and fellow English player Annabel Dimmock, and they are joined by LET winner Christine Wolf of Austria.

Two-time LET winner Alison Lee opted for Switzerland’s Elena Moosmann and they will have Norway’s Dorthea Forbrigd alongside them.

Defending Team captain Georgia Hall picked England’s Hannah Burke and the third player in their team is Morocco’s Lina Belmati.

2022 Individual champion Bronte Law chose Germany’s Patricia Isabel Schmidt, and they will be joined by England’s Eleanor Givens.

Last week’s winner Alice Hewson, who is attached to Centurion Club, opted for Sweden’s Sofie Bringner and they will have South Africa’s Cara Gorlei alongside them.

Major champion Anna Nordqvist stuck with a fellow Swede choosing LET winner Lisa Pettersson and they will also have Finland’s Tiia Koivisto in their team.

American star Angel Yin opted to stick with a countrywoman picking Jensen Castle and the third player in the team is 2021 Individual champion Marianne Skarpnord of Norway.
