This week sees the fourth Aramco Team Series presented by PIF event of the year taking place in China for the first time.
The unique format returns which will see two competitions taking place side by side with 84 professionals competing in a 54-hole stroke play, as well as a 36-hole Team competition.
Mission Hills China is hosting the event with the competition taking place on the World Cup Course from 4-6 October.
The captains were decided based on the 28 best-ranked players in the field in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings on Monday 23rd September.
At the Draft, captains were able to pick one professional to join their team, while the third professional was randomly assigned before an amateur was added to the team.
As the world number four, the last pick of the evening went to China’s Ruoning Yin and she selected fellow countrywoman Danlin Cai and they are joined by Norway’s Madelene Stavnar.
France’s Celine Boutier chose Thailand’s Kusuma Meechai and the third professional in the team is Thailand’s Pakin Kawinpakorn.
Home star Xiyu Lin, who won the Individual title at the Aramco Team Series – Hong Kong last year, picked England’s Liz Young and they will be joined by Spain’s Marta Sanz Barrio.
Switzerland’s Morgane Metraux – a two-time LET winner – kept her team within the family picking her older sister Kim and they also have England’s Thalia Martin alongside them.
LET Order of Merit leader Chiara Tamburlini selected South Africa’s Lee-Anne Pace and they are joined by CLPGA player Qianhui Lin.
Australia’s Kirsten Rudgeley picked her fellow countrywoman Kelsey Bennett, who has won on the LET Access Series this season, and they play alongside Sherman Santiwiwatthanaphong.
France’s Pauline Roussin-Bouchard also picked a player from the same country with Agathe Sauzon and their third professional is Ching Huang.
