The Ladies European Tour (LET) is over halfway through the 2024 season, with 10 official events plus the Olympic Games and Solheim Cup left to play.
Alongside, the Order of Merit, there is also a season-long competition to crown the best new player on Tour with the Rookie of the Year title.
As we head into the summer, Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini is number one in the standings with 1,193.44 points to her name.
Tamburlini secured her maiden LET title earlier in the season with victory at the Joburg Ladies Open at Modderfontein Golf Club.
But the Swiss star has also had four further top-10 finishes including a share of second place at the Jabra Ladies Open in May.
In second place in the standings is Singapore’s Shannon Tan, who won the season-opening Magical Kenya Ladies Open back in February.
Tan has also had two further top-10 finishes with T3 at the Ladies Italian Open and T7 at last week’s Dutch Ladies Open.
On top of that, with four further top-20 finishes the Singapore star now has 1,032.32 points and is 161.13 points behind leader Tamburlini.
Ireland’s Lauren Walsh is in third place with 780.38 points having had an excellent spell of golf in recent weeks.
Walsh had a steady start to the year but has really found her form in the European swing with four top-10 finishes seeing her climb the rankings.
France’s Perrine Delacour is in fourth place with 702.90 points having clinched her maiden LET title at the Dormy Open Helsingborg, as well as finishing in T5 at the Dutch Ladies Open.
Meanwhile Thailand’s Aunchisa Utama currently rounds out the top five with English duo Hannah Screen and Annabell Fuller just behind in sixth and seventh, respectively.
With additional points on offer at the co-sanctioned Women’s Scottish Open and AIG Women’s Open, it’s still all to play for heading into a busy summer stretch.
