Eleven of this year’s European Solheim Cup Team, which will battle against the U.S. Team next week, have played in the PING Junior Solheim Cup.
The PING Junior Solheim Cup (PJSC) was established in 2002 to give junior offers from both sides of the Atlantic the opportunity to gain international match play experience.
It follows a similar format to the senior event and features the best 12 European and American players who are aged 18 and under.
At the 2023 edition of the Solheim Cup, ten of the European team had made appearances in the junior competition.
Whereas, this year with two rookies on the team the total has increased meaning 11 out of the 12 European players for the 2024 Solheim Cup have participated in the PJSC.
